Louise Tenaglia is a kind and an attentive clinical psychologist. She considers her clients to be the experts in their life, working collaboratively with them to identify areas of difficulty and move towards positive psychological change and well-being.

Louise is a registered Clinical Psychologist at Aruna Psychology with a Masters in Clinical Psychology. She has worked with children, adolescents and adults in various private and public settings including schools and clinics.

Louise has experience assisting individuals who have presented with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, perinatal disorders, grief, disordered eating, adjustment difficulties and well-being (i.e. self-esteem, self-confidence) concerns. Furthermore, she has worked with young adults who have experienced intimate partner violence.

Louise takes a collaborative approach to therapy acting as a supportive guide to help clients towards positive change. She recognises the difficulties involved in discussing one’s concerns and worries, and approaches each conversation with kindness and compassion. Louise adopts strategies from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, EMDR and Schema Therapy, incorporating Mindfulness and strength based techniques to help clients through their journey.
